In this paper, four further Egyptian spellings with “b” are scrutinized. In the first case, it be-comes clear, that “b” can stand for “ḥb” “feast”. In the second one, it will be demonstrated that – according previous explanations – “b.t” may be an abbreviation for “ʿb.t” = “ʿbw” “let-tuce”. Here, three other alternatives are suggested. In the third case, it will be shown that “b” can be used for “wʿb” “wʿb”-priest. The fourth example is represented by the writing “b” for “bȝq” “bright, shining”.
